Bachelors degree in Engineering (STEM) with a minimum of five (5) years of experience
Experience in commercial industry standards and military electronics packaging form factors, chassis design, and electromechanical applications
Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D modeling
Preferred Skills: Active U.S. DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance
Knowledge of commercial and military electronic packaging form factors, chassis design, and electromechanical analysis methods
Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) designs, including component selection and layout for mechanical environmental considerations
Ability to apply and interpret Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
Knowledge of military standards such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-1472, and RTCA DO-160
Experience with standard form factor industry standards such as EIA-310, ATR, or VITA
Hands-on experience designing products with internal RF emissions or high-power wiring
Experience designing for rugged environments, including EMI, EMP, and nuclear exposure
Familiarity with thermal and structural Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using Ansys
Working knowledge of Agile development methods for hardware
Experience with Control Account Management (CAM) and earned value techniques
Experience with rapid prototyping methods such as 3D printing for mid-stream design verifications
Practical experience designing for NSA compliance, including anti-tamper and TEMPEST considerations
Job Responsibilities: Design and document mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware, including chassis, enclosures, and structural components for electronic packaging

Support printed circuit board (PCB) designs by ensuring mechanical environmental considerations are met
Perform mechanical analysis and verification of designs using industry-standard tools
Ensure compliance with military and commercial standards throughout the design and development process
