Summary: Seeking a Welder/Fabricator to fabricate, assemble, and repair sheet steel and structural steel assemblies.Requirements:1 year of sheet metal fabrication experienceAbility to read specifications, blueprints, and job ordersHigh school diploma or equivalentPreferred Skills:Certification to AWS D1.1 by a third-party testing agencyJob Responsibilities:Select gauge and type of sheet metal according to drawings providedCut, bend, grind, trim, notch, punch, de-burr, clean, and weld sheet steel and structural steel using appropriate machines and hand toolsPlan, lay-out, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal parts and productsSet up and operate fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, and pressesTrim, file, grind, buff, and smooth surfaces using hand tools and portable power toolsWeld, solder, bolt, rivet, screw, clip, caulk, and bond component parts to assemble products Pay: 58000-67000Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
