Job Summary: Seeking a Project Manager with an engineering background and experience in managing assembly system projects to oversee project performance, customer quality requirements, budget, and team.
Job Requirements:
Possess an eight-year engineering degree in electrical, mechanical or related field
Eight years of experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager, managing multiple assembly system projects greater than $US5m
Experience in automation, assembly, test equipment design, material handling and other special machines and systems
Understanding of customer and supplier contract administration
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint), AutoCAD is a plus
Working knowledge of SPC, FMEA, R&M analysis method
Demonstrated experience holding complex schedules
Willingness to travel 25%
Job Responsibilities:
Establish and execute project timeline based on customer requirements
Adhere to project budget; report budget issues back to executive management
Update cost-to-complete in the NAV system
Address all customer concerns and requirements
Deliver all as-built drawings, manuals and documentation to the customer
Manage customer change orders; update project budgets accordingly
Conduct all project meetings
Review overall performance of the project with departmental managers; provide input on improvements for future projects.
