Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical system design for residential and commercial projects
Preferred Skills:
Proven track record of delivering high-quality, code-compliant designs on time and within budget
Responsibilities:
Design HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and energy management systems
Ensure all designs meet applicable codes and standards such as IMC, ASHRAE
Perform heating and cooling load calculations using industry-standard software
Incorporate sustainable design practices ensuring compliance with energy efficiency standards like IECC or LEED
