Role Description We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the successful execution of high-profile construction projects across New York City. This is a full-time position with time split between our Long Island headquarters and active project sites in NYC. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Support the Project Manager in coordinating and overseeing all phases of construction projects, from planning to completion Lead expediting efforts to ensure the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and permits Assist in site inspections to verify compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Manage on-site logistics and daily operations to optimize workflow and resource utilization Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve issues and maintain project momentum Track project milestones, report on progress, and contribute to schedule and budget adherence Qualifications Demonstrated experience in project coordination, expediting, or field operations within the construction or engineering sectors Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team and stakeholder engagement Highly organized with exceptional time management and multitasking abilities Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Proficient in project management tools and software is a plus Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred) Previous experience in the construction industry (specifically with NYCSCA)is strongly preferred
