Architect I Location: Raleigh, NC Position Summary We are seeking a talented and motivated Architect I to join a dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects through all phases of design and construction. The ideal candidate will be a licensed architect with strong technical skills, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for thoughtful, concept-driven design. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with project teams on diverse architectural projects from concept through construction. Lead design efforts and/or serve as project manager for small to medium-sized projects. Produce accurate technical drawings, documents, and specifications, including life safety plans, LCCA, and sustainability documentation. Assist in developing project fee proposals in coordination with the Contracts Manager. Conduct research and compile data to support design layouts and project features. Prepare project presentations, drawings, and specifications by analyzing relevant data. Coordinate and manage consultant teams throughout project phases. Perform building assessments and field verification activities. Utilize project checklists and adhere to established standards and protocols. Ensure timely completion of project deadlines and maintain budget compliance. Lead project meetings and site visits; prepare detailed meeting minutes and observation reports. Review internal and consultant deliverables prior to senior review. Create project renderings and graphic representations for design review. Support business development efforts, including interviews and proposal reviews. Required Qualifications Professional degree in Architecture. Architectural licensure required. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience. Skills and Competencies Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software; Revit strongly preferred . Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam Revu, and BIM360. Solid understanding of materials, construction techniques, specifications, and building codes. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to design excellence.
