Job Title: Senior Project Manager at Trihydro Corporation

Location: Negotiable, could include any of the following locations, Houston, Texas; or San Luis Obispo, Concord, or Richmond, California

Job Summary:

Trihydro, a top environmental and engineering consulting firm has an opening for a Senior Project Manager. This full-time position requires approximately 40-45 hours per week and involves a blend of project and people management, strong communication skills, and problem-solving abilities. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and/or oversee the development of work plans and health & safety plans.

Manage large-scale groundwater monitoring programs and remediation projects at industrial facilities.

Manage small-scale soil gas and indoor air monitoring programs at industrial facilities.

Interact with various regulatory agencies to optimize and streamline monitoring programs as necessary.

Manage and appropriately delegate all aspects of project planning (scope, cost, plan, schedule); implement; and prepare deliverables for assigned projects.

Vet, select, and manage subcontractors, prepare purchase orders, and approve vendor invoices.

Manage staff and assign resources to complete project tasks within budget and on schedule.

Coordinate with regulatory agencies, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders to execute site investigation and remediation projects.

Oversee and perform field investigations that may include reconnaissance, mapping, and multi-media sampling (air, water, soil).

Oversee remediation construction projects, including leading field teams in completion of remediation work.

Maintain client, Trihydro, and regulatory health & safety standards and perform regular field project health & safety audits.

Manage and evaluate data for regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal standards.

Prepare site restoration, investigation summary, remedy implementation, performance monitoring, permit compliance, and site closure reports.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in geology, engineering, or a related field (Texas or California professional registration is a plus).

12-20 years of relevant project management experience.

Strong technical and problem-solving skills, as well as attention to detail and accuracy.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Initiative to complete project deliverables on schedule and within budget.

Interest in and commitment to mentoring junior staff.

Demonstrated understanding of health & safety best practices and a commitment to safe operations.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and conversant with Microsoft Project or equivalent project scheduling packages.

The ability to grasp scientific concepts and apply them to different technical challenges.

A clean driving record, and ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.

The salary information shown below is a general guideline ONLY. Salaries are based on candidates' experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $125,000- $140,000
