Heres what you can expect on a typical day as a Maintenance Electrician on our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions:
- Safety: Safety is our number one priority. Youll learn our plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training including lockout/tagout, housekeeping, and 5S standards.
- Quality: We take pride in our output, and you take pride in ensuring our equipment is running smoothly and safely.
- High-Speed, Loud Environment: We convert coil to sheets then coat and print them. Its fast and can be loud. Some areas of the plant get very warm in the summer.
- Hard work: Each day youll be bending, lifting, stooping, and like to repair equipment. You will replace sensors, contacts, or other defective parts. Youll work with PLC equipment, multiple small tools, and high-voltage equipment. You are responsible for keeping your equipment in safe, usable condition and your area safe and tidy at all times.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Read and understand pneumatic, hydraulic, electric and electronic documentation and drawings and interpret equipment data
- Experience and demonstrated knowledge of troubleshooting skills, preferably in PLC motor controls and electrical equipment
- Perform PLC programming & diagnostics on various systems and troubleshoot electrical equipment such as relays, contactors, overloads, timers, photodetection & proximity switches or light curtains
- Strong understanding of Allen Bradley Control Systems, RS Logic 5000 & Seimens S7 preferred
- Experience with Fanuc and Toshiba a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook a plus
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good mathematical and organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work multiple shifts
