About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to lead and execute capital projects from concept to completion. You will be a key player in advancing process improvements, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring operational excellence across manufacturing, laboratory, and office environments.
What Youll Do:
Lead major and minor capital projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
Drive innovation and process optimization initiatives focused on improving efficiency and reducing costs
Specify, procure, commission, and sustain new equipment and technologies
Manage contractors and vendors effectively
Utilize management of change (MOC) tools to implement project changes smoothly
Provide clear, timely status updates on project milestones, risks, and deliverables to stakeholders
Collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance, R&D, Production, Safety, and Quality teams
Analyze data to reduce variability and improve process consistency
Perform root cause analysis on deviations and implement sustainable corrective actions
Support efforts to enhance manufacturing instructions for consistent and repeatable operations
Champion site safety initiatives and contribute to a strong safety culture
What Were Looking For:
BS or MS degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred)
Minimum 3 years experience managing capital projects with demonstrated success from project initiation to completion
PMP certification is a strong plus
Eagerness to learn new technologies, chemistries, and processes
Comfortable working and transitioning between manufacturing floors, labs, and office settings
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, including presentations to groups
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
