Dozer/Excavator Operators-GPS

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators with a strong background in utility pipe installation for an immediate need in Columbia, SC. Candidates must have experience operating GPS-enabled excavators and dozers and be ready to work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Location: Columbia, SC
Pay: $20$24/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time | Weekly Pay | Temp-to-Perm

Key Responsibilities:
Operate GPS Excavators and GPS Dozers for utility installation projects
Install, align, and grade underground water, sewer, and storm piping systems
Assist with site prep, shoveling, dirt work, and other general labor tasks
Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain site safety
Use hand tools including cut-off saws, tampers, wrenches, lasers, and levels

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years experience in utility pipe installation and heavy equipment operation required!! (GPS Dozer/GPS Excavator)
Proven ability to read grades and perform precision leveling and trenching
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Knowledge of construction site safety and best practices
Strong communication and teamwork skills
MSHA Certified (not required, but it's a plus)

Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
Job requires the use of proper PPE: steel-toe boots, hard hat, safety vest, gloves, and safety glasses
