Collaborating with cross-functioning teams, you will develop advance technologies for scientific instruments utilized in various laboratory environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a passion for designing impactful solutions.Responsibilities: Collaborate with electronics and software engineers to integrate their efforts within the product development team.Being apart of the processes from conception to production.Revision of existing products and new product development.Develop prototypes for testing and conduct evaluations to identify design issues or opportunities for improvements.Document designs including 3D Models, Drawings and Assembly Procedures.Responsible for the physical design of instruments, including electromechanical, fluidic and optical components.Identify & troubleshoot problems through entire product life cycle.New Product Development & New Product Introduction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications: Required: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field (physics, applied math, electrical engineering, chemistry). Masters Degree a plus. 8-10 Years as a mechanical engineer (or related) involved in the design of innovative electromechanical systems. Must have significant experience working in a multi-disciplinary project team, with a proven record of design innovation. Familiarity with 3-D CAD modeling is required; Creo Parametric experience is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
