Job Description The Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing new builds, renovations, and expansions of Fulfillment Centers across the US. This role requires effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee new construction projects, renovations, and expansions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Negotiate construction, procurement, and labor contracts effectively.
- Coordinate with various disciplines within the construction industry, including General Contracting, Owners Representation, and Commercial Development.
- Communicate project requirements clearly to diverse audiences.
- Manage project scheduling and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in a related discipline such as Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- 7+ years of project management experience from the design phase through implementation and operation.
- 7+ years of experience negotiating construction, procurement, and labor contracts.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, BIM, and scheduling software like Primavera or MS Project.
- Experience in at least two disciplines within the construction industry.
- Success in communicating project requirements to various audiences.
- Experience in facilities management, including planning, design review, and project management/control.
- Program management of concurrent projects.
- Project Management accreditation (PMP or similar).
