About the RoleJoin a high-profile project at an iconic Convention Center in Boston. Were seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent with a strong electrical background to lead and manage all on-site MEP operations. Youll play a key role in ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are met while fostering collaboration across teams and trade partners.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and document all daily MEP site activities , ensuring OSHA compliance and safety best practices.
- Direct field personnel and subcontractors in alignment with the project plan and schedule.
- Communicate daily updates, progress, and issues to the Project Manager.
- Proactively identify and resolve field issues to maintain cost-effective operations.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with the General Superintendent and Project Manager on scheduling, materials, and personnel planning.
- Develop and maintain the projects baseline and look-ahead schedules.
- Ensure all subcontractors complete safety pre-construction meetings before mobilization.
- Provide monthly schedule updates and two-week look-ahead reports.
- 5+ years of experience as an MEP Superintendent, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems.
- Proven experience with medium voltage switchgear (4000 amp) upgrades and replacements.
- Proficient in managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontractor coordination.
- OSHA Certification required.
- Experience in commercial and infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- 1020 years of industry experience.
- Background in large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects.
- Ability to manage complex electrical systems and upgrades in active facilities.
- Collaborative, fast-paced environment with a focus on excellence and safety.
- Full-time, long-term position (not a 1099 or short-term contract).
