Reports to: Director of Facilities
Qualifications: A valid license for plumber, or steamfitter. Knowledgeable in the repair
and preventative maintenance of fluid handling equipment, including
potable and non-potable water and sewer systems.
Responsibilities:
- Repairs, services, and maintains potable and non-potable
plumbing systems, sewage systems, and HVAC piping systems,
including steam, chilled water and hot water. Also works on
plumbing for commercial kitchens.
- Repairs or replaces sanitary systems, water distributions systems,
and drainage systems (roofs and surface drains).
- Repairs, services and maintains pool equipment, solar heating
equipment, pipe insulation, etc.
- Makes and replaces seals, gaskets, etc.
- Maintains a reasonable replacement supply of parts, fittings,
pipes, accessories, etc.
- Works with and supports other trades involved in building
maintenance and upkeep.
- Coordinates inspections and maintain records of inspection reports
