We are looking to add a full-time skilled Journeyman Carpenter to our team. You will contribute to New Life Service Co. success by assisting the construction team to achieve business results while fulfilling our mission.
Key Responsibilities: As a Journeyman Carpenter, your duties will include:
Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service and high
Construction & Installation: Construct, install, and repair structures such as frameworks, walls, cabinetry, and other wooden fixtures.
Material Handling: Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials with precision using hand and power tools.
Structural Integrity: Inspect and replace damaged structures or fixtures, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other construction professionals, including electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless project execution.
Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications: To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
Skills: Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials; ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Licensing: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
