Residential Remodeler/Carpenter

We are a residential general contractor based in Fremont looking to grow our small crew. Our projects consist of remodels, additions, and ADUs. We are looking for someone with experience in wood framing (who is also experienced in plumbing and electrical) to work alongside our lead carpenter. Responsibilities:

Assist lead carpenter with measuring, cutting, layouts, building floors, walls and roofs, and other related carpentry duties
Install electrical components (wire, boxes, outlets, etc.) from rough to finish
Install plumbing systems from rough to finish
Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently
Communicate effectively with all team members
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Ensure high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail
Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to: demolition, material handling, digging, rebar, concrete forming, insulation, etc.

Qualifications:

3+ years experience in wood framing
Previous experience with residential plumbing and electrical
Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy materials
Knowledge of construction tools and equipment and how to use them in a safe manner
Must have own set of basic tools and drills
Saws, nail guns, and other related equipment is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Pay Range:

$32-$40 depending on experience

This is a W2 position. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Typical work hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.
