Job Description

• Design, communicate, and implement operational plans for engineering-based projects

• Prepare:

• Project designs, controls, and specifications

• Schedules, cost estimates, and production plans

• Logistics for transportation, installation, testing, and/or commissioning of infrastructure, facilities, or equipment

• Monitor project progress and performance; take action to resolve operational issues and minimize delays

• Identify, develop, and gather necessary resources for project completion

• Prepare engineering standards, work specifications, and select appropriate materials and equipment

• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and forecasts

Qualifications

• Practical project management knowledge gained through education and relevant work experience

• Experience managing smaller, low-complexity projects or segments of larger projects

• Ability to work independently with general supervision

• Capable of addressing difficult, though not overly complex, problems

• May influence peers and team members by explaining policies, procedures, and factual information
