Come work with multidisciplinary engineers focused on delivering world class Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) on the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program. As an MGSE Engineer, you will work with a diverse work force responsible for the development, design, fabrication, test, and delivery of support equipment.

Job responsibilities include:

-- Collaborate in team environment to Develop mechanical design solutions of varying complexity using solid models, detailed drawings, and release of engineering work products.

- Review requirements from various sources (stress, dynamics, systems, thermal, manufacturing, etc.) to ensure that applicable requirements are flowed into the detailed design of assigned products.

- Collaborate with peers, configuration management, and manufacturing to ensure program requirements and schedules are met.

- Contribute to the completion of Program achievements by the release of accurate, error-free, affordable and producible engineering designs.

- Perform engineering liaison activities during hardware fabrication and procurement, including travel to support and provide technical assistance to existing/new suppliers, support assembly, integration, and testing activities, and provide on-site support to vendors as needed.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of 3D CAD Modeling in PTC CREO, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), have good communications skills (both oral and written) and a background in Mechanical Engineering processes. A willingness to travel and ability to obtain a DOD security clearance is required.Qualified candidate will have or be able to:

- Minimum of a bachelor degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

- Demonstrated proficiency of mechanical engineering fundamentals including structures, mechanisms, materials and analysis.

- Expertise with engineering CAD tools (PTC Creo, NX, Solid Works, I-DEAS, etc.) and model based product definition.

- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and ASME Y14.5

- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a DoD secret security clearance.- Master degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

- Familiar with the development of Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) used for the manufacture, integration, test, transport, and handling of critical hardware

- Expertise in CAD modeling using PTC CREO, Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM), Data Set Rating (DSR), Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and ASME Y14.5

- Extensive knowledge of industrial standards and federal regulations including ANSI, OSHA, and AWS (including AWS weld symbology)

- Experience with mechanical product design and lifecycle.

- Knowledge of FBM Program and LM Space command media.

- Good oral, written, and presentation communication skills.

- Active DOD Secret security clearance
