Job Purpose
Support the company’s maintenance program by focusing on plant equipment and building upkeep to ensure uninterrupted continuity of facility, manufacturing, and support systems, while fully complying with all food safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Essential Functions
- Reads, interprets, and executes drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specifications to see layout of commercial electrical equipment installations
- Tests electrical and equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
- Installs, repairs, or replaces AC/DC motors and drives, transformers, motors, starters, relays, and hydraulic and gas electrical controls
- Installs repairs, or replaces electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, and line assemblies, lighting, and alternative electrical parts
- Installs, repairs, or replaces generators and industrial storage batteries
- Do preventive maintenance and testing of electrical systems (including power distribution equipment
- Installs electrical circuits, as well as panels, conduit, protecting devices, switches, and equipment required to accommodate the NEC
- May install and maintain industrial equipment and connected devices
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs and identify corrective action needed
- Follow all company GMP and safety policies/ procedures in place
- Must be able to read electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team
- Report food safety and quality issues to appropriate personnel
- Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)
- Requires a MA Journeyman Electrician License in active status.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior electrical experience in an industrial manufacturing or construction setting preferred.
- Working knowledge of CMMS
- Working knowledge of lockout/tagout programs
- Intermediate computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts to identify solutions
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
