Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Architect with expertise in AutoCAD and the ability to complete a full set of Construction Documents. The ideal candidate will possess modeling experience with Sketchup and be proficient in executing construction documents for healthcare and commercial building types. This role involves drafting existing conditions from site surveys, taking projects from schematic design through construction documents, and coordinating with consulting engineers. The architect will develop construction detailing and specifications, manage construction administration tasks including answering RFIs, reviewing submittals, and conducting construction site observations. Additionally, the role requires researching codes, creating 3D working models in Sketch-Up, and producing realistic renderings for client presentations using Adobe Creative Suite. Responsibilities
- Execute a full set of construction documents for healthcare/commercial building types.
- Draft existing conditions from site surveys.
- Take projects from schematic design through construction documents, coordinating with consulting engineers.
- Develop construction detailing and specifications.
- Manage construction administration including answering RFIs and reviewing submittals.
- Conduct construction site observations.
- Research codes as necessary.
- Create 3D working models in Sketch-Up.
- Produce realistic renderings for client presentations.
- Utilize graphic skills and Adobe Creative Suite.
- 5-10 years of experience in healthcare projects, particularly freestanding medical/health facilities and outpatient offices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for full construction documentation.
- 5-10 years of experience with project coordination involving engineers, clients, and contractors.
- Experience in architectural design, construction administration, and project management.
- Expertise in construction documentation and design development.
- Ability to create schematic designs and construction drawings.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture developing construction documents.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field.
- Experience with commercial buildings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, or 3D Studio Max for photo-realistic rendering.
- MS Office proficiency.
