What You'll Do:

  • Lead mechanical engineering efforts from concept through completion on compressor and metering station projects
  • Develop detailed engineering specs, calculations, and drawings that meet DOT, FERC, OSHA, and EPA standards
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence
  • Collaborate with project managers to define scopes, budgets, and timelines
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for decommissioning and new builds
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and ensure technical alignment with project goals
  • Represent the company in client meetings, regulatory reviews, and HAZOP/HAZID sessions
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and environmental performance

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 10+ years of design engineering or project engineering experience in the oil/gas industry
  • 5+ years of experience with compressor stations
  • Ability to mentor engineers and lead a team
  • Consulting experience
  • Proficiency in Mechanical Design, Solidworks, Inventor, CADWorx, P&ID
  • Experience with brownfield and greenfield projects
  • Knowledge of project management, engineering, piping, pipeline design, and pipeline engineering
  • Familiarity with Navisworks and meter station operations

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $65.00/hr.
