Rewind Operator

Do you have experience working for a labelmaking manufacturing company? Are you experienced with rewinding machines and visual inspections of printed materials? We are in need of a Rewind Table Operator in Shelton to join our team on 1st shift! Hours are 8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday Pay $18-20/hour, depending on experience This person ideally has prior experience working within a label making manufacturing and must also pass a criminal background check. Responsibilities

• Operating machinery that takes large rolls of material (like paper, film, etc) and rewinds them into smaller, specified rolls by cutting and precisely winding them onto new cores, ensuring consistent quality and meeting production targets while maintaining proper equipment upkeep and safety protocols
• Reading from blueprints and work orders to run jobs
• Setting rewind table machines based on work order specifications
• Inspection visually and using video camera technology
• Might assist with other duties such as packing, preparing shipments, sealing and bagging, etc.

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time
