Mechanical Engineer

A Mechanical Engineer is needed for a multinational manufacturing company that produces and distributes trucks, buses and construction equipment, as well as marine and industrial drive systems in the Greensboro, NC area. This role involves independently managing the design, development, and release of CH & EV structural components, ensuring alignment with business targets and leveraging deep expertise in PTC CREO.

responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day development and design changes to existing products.
  
  
• Focused on designing CH (Cab & Hardware) and EV (Electric Vehicle) structure components.
  
  
• Ensure new designs meet business objectives, including Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Feature (QDCF) targets.
  
  
• Perform early-stage design validation to support stable product releases.
  
  
• Release components to resolve ongoing maintenance issues or fulfill project milestones.
  
  
• Assist in developing modular systems and components to reduce part diversity.
  
  
• Manage design and development deliveries with minimal oversight from component engineers.

Skills:

• Experience analyzing technical challenges and drawing informed conclusions.
  
  
• Primary focus on own technical discipline with limited cross-discipline involvement.

Experience: Over 10 years of experience with PTC CREO is preferred.
