Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Welder/Pipe Fitter for a company based in Fort Worth, TX. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for maintenance and repairs of machinery and equipment. Including fabrication, welding, pipe fitting installation, removal, modification, repair and maintenance of all equipment to help maintain a safe and productive environment. Pay Rate
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour or DOE Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7 30 am to 4 00 pm. Welder/Pipe Fitter Duties and Responsibilities
Test equipment to check operation. Try out equipment after repairs, changeovers, or extended downtime.
Analyze and records cause of production delays on daily production report.
Make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
Instruct and direct any maintenance trainees assigned.
Notify plant manager of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken. Welder/Pipe Fitter Operator Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum 4 years prior electrical and mechanical experience preferred.
Experienced with equipment utilized in a batch process consisting of mixing & filling desirable.
Practical Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic knowledge required. Forklift Operator License preferred. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 55 lbs. Ability to walk, stand, sit, squat, kneel, bend, climb, and crawl. Must be proficient in Arc Welding. Must have Carbon steel pipe welding and Carbon Steel sheet metal fabricating experience.
Practical understanding of power generation equipment (i.e. pumps, motors, and gearing). Job Type
