Automation Electrician

Seeking an Automation Electrician to install, maintain, and repair industrial controls including CNCs, PLCs, and Servo Systems. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience or education. Proficiency with electronic components such as Servo systems, CNCs, PLCs, logic diagrams, and schematics. Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic components and industrial components. Preferred Skills: Experience in industrial wiring and installation of conduit, starters, motors (single and multiphase). Excellent troubleshooting skills. Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair CNCs, PLCs, Servo Systems, and other industrial controls. Perform duties with minimal supervision. Ensure compliance with all pertinent industrial safety codes. Select replacement components; assist engineers with equipment selection. Responsible for start-up of key equipment in the morning (e.g., compressors boilers). Work across crafts to balance maintenance shop load; multi-skilled cross training required within six months.
