SR. Hvac Estimator

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Estimator for a large mechanical contractor in Southern California. In this role, you will gather information for estimating jobs by consulting with various stakeholders and interpreting field conditions to provide cost estimates for large-scale mechanical retrofit projects. You will prepare and submit proposals, scopes of work, and project schedules, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and Title 24. Additionally, you will conduct constructability and code compliance reviews, documenting and communicating any concerns. You will compile detailed lists of qualifications and exclusions to clearly communicate budget assumptions to clients. Lastly, you will obtain scopes of work and pricing from subcontractors and suppliers, and assist with pricing change orders.

Mechanical Engineering Degree
- 10 years of experience in estimating, construction management experience
- Experience with HVAC estimating-mechanical pipes and sheet metal
- Experience with HVAC design-build projects
- Practical mechanical engineering knowledge/experience
- Budgeting and bidding experience of retrofit projects.
