• Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects based on plans and specifications.

• Analyze labor, material, and time requirements to create accurate project budgets.

• Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project scope and objectives.

• Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to streamline the estimation process.

• Review and evaluate subcontractor bids to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.

• Monitor ongoing projects for cost control and provide updates on budget status.

• Assist in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a construction estimator or similar role in the construction industry.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., HeavyBid, Bluebeam) is preferred.

• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost estimation.

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
