- Lead and manage construction layout and stakeout projects from inception to completion.
- Generate stakeout data for construction layout, ensuring precision and compliance with project specifications.
- Create detailed CAD drawings for construction layout and stakeout purposes, including site plans, grading plans, and utility layouts.
- Collaborate closely with surveyors, technicians, project coordinators, and support staff to ensure all data is accurate and the project stays on task.
- Perform quality control checks on all drawings and stakeout data to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CAD software and equipment used in construction layout and stakeout.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all project drawings, stakeout data, and related documentation for future reference.
- Organize DWG files utilizing Dynamic Blocks, Layers, and Civil 3D.
- Construction Layout Project Experience
- 3-5 years of Project Management experience, including cost estimates and proposals
- Proficiency in Civil 3D/AutoCAD, Drafting, and Land surveying
- 3-5 years of experience as a Survey CAD Technician working on Construction Layout projects
- Experience with Leica Software (Total Stations and GPS)
This position is primarily office-based, with hybrid flexibility dependent on candidate experience and comfort with processes. The office environment consists of around 30 employees, including surveyors, technicians, and administration. The company uses state-of-the-art equipment, such as robotic total stations and global positioning systems (GPS), to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
