General Laborer

Aerotek's client is looking for a Laborer to join their team in the Sterling, VA area

Job Description

Join our specialty division's trench safety team as a yard laborer. You will be responsible for assisting with equipment upkeep and maintenance. The role involves lifting, loading, and cleaning equipment, requiring comfort with working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lift and load equipment.
• Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Work in outdoor yard environments under various weather conditions.
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Unload trucks efficiently.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and loading.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a manual labor role.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of working on cars.
• Positive attitude towards achieving success.

Work Environment

• The work environment is primarily outdoors, in a yard setting. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 4 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
