Overview & Responsibilities
Elliott Companys Jeanette, PA, office seeks a Project Engineer to be the primary interface between Elliott and the client on technical issues regarding their purchase of Elliott equipment. This is a hybrid office- based/work-from-home position within the United States responsible for participating in Project Transfer Meetings (TM1- TM3), transferring project technical information from Proposal through Execution; facilitating key customer meetings with the direction of the Project Manager, including Kick-Off Meeting (KOM), Customer Coordination Meeting (CCM), Pre-Inspection Meeting (PIM) and Design Review Meetings (DRM); reviewing, revising, and submitting internal design specification information to customers; reviewing and analyzing customer specifications; providing due diligence in the retention of information sufficient to maintain adequate knowledge of the project for downstream operations both internal and external to Elliott; and functioning as a technical resource to other portions of the organization, such as Sales and Applications and Global Services.
This is a hybrid office-based/work-from-home position within the United States. The employee can work remotely from within the United States, but must be able to work in the Jeannette office at least four (4)
days per week.
Must have a bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Petroleum Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field plus four (4) years of experience in a related position.
Experience must include four (4) years working with/within: (i) engineering within heavy manufacturing environment; (ii) providing quality customer service and support; (iii) commercial and contractual issues routinely encountered during contract execution; (iv) customer bid clarifications in a customer facing role; (v) thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, and their role in turbo machinery; (vi) turbo machinery auxiliary support equipment, such as API 614 seal and lube oil systems, pressure vessels, instrumentation and control systems equipment; and (vii) a customer-facing role during project execution stage, being responsible for managing project and sub-supplier technical documentation (scope, due dates, completeness etc.), and working with multiple parties involved in the project (sub-suppliers, EPCs, end users).
Experience can be concurrent.
