Drafter / Design Assistant for boutique recording studio facilities.

We are a small design/build firm looking for a freelance drafting and design assistant. Our primary focus is high end, boutique recording studios, post production facilities and theaters, though we perform all manners of residential and commercial design and construction.

Previous experience with creating permit sets for submission to LADBS is a requirement.

Primary duties would be coordinating with principal designer to format existing drawings into permit sets and CDs.
Additional tasks may include:
- creating section details based on criteria provided by principal designer
- coordinating with SE and MEPs
- assisting with plan check corrections.
- assisting with custom furniture shop drawings / part design for manufacturing.

Work would be project based and the total scope would vary from project to project.
Compensation $40-60/hr depending on experience.
