Field Land Surveyor - Contract Position Available

Ambit Consulting has an immediate opening for a Northern California Field Survey Technician Contract Position. This position works under the direction supervision of our PLS. Location is flexible.

We are looking for contract field surveyors with following requirements:

Familiar with performing topographic, boundary and cellular surveys
Ability to perform monument recovery in support of a record of survey
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
Ability to travel frequently to project sites
Have a total station with direct reflect capabilities
GPS capability (OPUS or network)
Quick turnaround time (10 days from NTP)
Be able to provide equipment calibration information
Be able to adhere to Ambit field standards
Some boundary research necessary
Minimal linework drafting required
General Liability Insurance and Commercial Auto Insurance is required
