Job Description
Established multi-disciplined consulting firm is adding a talented Lead Mechanical Engineer for their Bettendorf team!
Responsibilities:
Design mechanical and/or plumbing systems (calculations, layouts, sizing, equipment selections, specification, and coordination)
Coordinate projects from start to finish
Design specification/layout for fire protection scope of work Perform code reviews
Review/process shop drawings and submittals
Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates
Serve as client liaison and communicate on existing and new project development
Project management duties
Mentor/train junior staff
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering8+ years of mechanical/plumbing design experience as an engineering MEP consultant or plumbing contractor
PE License and/or DESPrevious project management experience
Salary is commensurate with experience.
