Onsite Project Manager

We are looking for an Onsite Project Manager in IL 60101 for a 3 4-month contract duration and offers $35/hr., with a temp-to-perm opportunity. This person will be responsible managing project tasks including initial bill of material review, submittal approval, expedite shipments, manage ship schedule, place change orders, provide project progress reports, provide quality assurance updates, return products, resolve freight claims, and reconcile project billings upon project completion. - APPLY NOW!

Shift schedule: Monday - Friday, 7: 30am-4: 30pm or 8am-5pm

Dress code: Business Casual

Responsibilities:

• Manage project tasks including initial bill of material review, submittal approval, expedite shipments, manage ship schedule, place change orders, provide project progress reports, provide quality assurance updates, return products, resolve freight claims, and reconcile project billings upon project completion.
• Collaborate and partner with customers, DTS Specialists, and operations team to plan for: material receipts, specialized services and solutions, problem resolution, and delivery coordination.
• Partner with Project Support to complete tasks including but not limited to reporting, submittals, and shipment schedules.

Qualifications:

• Ideal candidate will have 3+ years Project Management experience with a lighting/electrical company. Will consider candidates with experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Need someone with critical thinking skills and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.

Special skills or certifications required:

• Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, internet navigation, and PDF editing required.
