Position: Framer / Carpenter Helper to Lead Framer / Carpenter
Work Radius:Traverse City surrounding areas
Pay: depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Assist lead carpenters with framing, installation, finishing, and other carpentry tasks.
Safely operate hand and power tools while following company safety protocols.
Learn and grow in the trade with opportunities for hands-on experience and mentoring.
As a Lead Framer / Carpenter, manage small crews, oversee projects, and ensure quality and timeliness of work.
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors to ensure projects run smoothly.
Qualifications:
Experience in carpentry, whether as a helper or as a more experienced carpenter.
Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions.
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety on job sites.
Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and perform physical labor.
A valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn.
