D&CC Construction Quality Manager

The D&CC Construction Quality Manager responsible for ensuring that all construction activities and deliverables meet

the specified quality standards, design, and specifications. This role involves overseeing quality assurance (QA) and

quality control (QC) processes throughout the lifecycle of a construction project.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and oversee the quality management processes pertaining to construction during the construction work
• Prepares, develops, and implements the Construction Quality Management Plan within the required schedule constraints
• Revises and updates the Construction Management Plan when deficiencies are identified or Project needs dictate
• Verify application of the Construction Quality Management Plan at all tiers of the construction organization
• Leads audits of the Construction Management Plan throughout the Construction Work
• Reports Construction QA/QC activities and results to the Developers Project Quality Manager
• Manages lower-tier construction quality managers
• Verify proper implementation and close-out of the NC process including verification of implementation of corrections and corrective actions in the NCTS and coordinate with the Design Team, as needed
• Support/Monitor QC subcontracts, resources, COs, and invoices
• Monitor quality budget and forecast
• Performance report
• Development assistance of Inspection and Test Plans
• Manage NCR Closeouts
• Assist in ITPs Close-out
• Risk Register
• Assist in maintaining quality-related records and statistics and tracking of KPIs
• Review and assist in drafting commercial letters.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Relevant knowledge in quality management (ISO 9001)
• Expert knowledge of engineering and construction
• Proficient in quality management software tools
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Problem solving skills
• Time management and organization

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Qualifications in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 10 years in construction environment
• Previous experience in a similar role 5 years
• Experience working in Quality Control roles or quality related fields
• Expertise in MS Office and related software
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Work Environment:

• This position is primarily indoors
• This work environment may involve minimal exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises
