We are seeking an experienced painter to prepare, coat, and finish equipment and structures for marine and industrial applications. The candidate must possess expertise in industrial painting techniques, demonstrate attention to detail, and ensure a superior finish that adheres to quality standards. Schedule | First shift, 7am - 4pm, Monday - Friday

Pay | $16/hr.

Industrial Painter essential tasks:

• Prepare surfaces for painting through sanding, grinding, cleaning, and priming.
• Use appropriate painting tools and methods (brush, roller, spray gun) based on project needs.
• Apply paints, coatings, or finishes to equipment and structures as per specifications.
• Mix paints to achieve desired colors and textures.
• Inspect painted surfaces to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Maintain safety protocols and a clean, organized work environment.
• Operate, maintain, and repair painting equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with prior experience in industrial or commercial painting, especially in marine or heavy equipment industries.
• Proficient in various paint types, surface preparation techniques, and application methods, along with expertise in using painting tools like spray guns, rollers, and brushes.
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, attention to detail, understanding of safety regulations, and certification in forklift or heavy equipment operation (preferred).
