Your future role

  • Design electrical systems and equipment for innovative industrial packaging machines
  • Customizing electrical plans to meet unique customer requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable electrical standards, codes, and safety regulations
  • Preparing accurate cost and material estimates for projects
  • Providing technical support and guidance to manufacturing team members during installation and troubleshooting
  • Learning and working with automated equipment components such as PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and drives
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and define new product development opportunities
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability

Required skills

  • Proven experience working in an industrial automation manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related technical field with a focus on the manufacturing of automated industrial machinery
  • Knowledge in electrical engineering principles, standards, and practices such as NFPA, UL, and NEC
  • Strong proficiency with CAD software such as EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical
  • Familiarity with automation and control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and industrial communication protocols
  • Ability to perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of electrical systems to ensure proper operation of machines
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills with the ability to think critically
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
