Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and certified electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. The electrician must ensure work complies with all relevant codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

  • Diagnose electrical problems using diagrams, blueprints, and testing devices.

  • Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes.

  • Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.

  • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and upgrades on electrical systems.

  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices.

  • Read technical diagrams and blueprints.

  • Collaborate with other team members, contractors, or clients on-site.

  • Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program.

  • Valid electrician certification/license (e.g., Journeyman or Master Electrician, depending on state requirements).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed electrician.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • May be exposed to varying temperatures and weather conditions.

  • Must be able to stand, climb, bend, and lift for long periods.

  • Work may involve heights or confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification.

  • Experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems.

  • Additional certifications (e.g., HVAC, low-voltage systems) a plus.
