This Opportunity

kW MCE is seeking a Project Coordinator for their New York, NY office. The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Project Leader and project teams with administrative duties throughout the project lifecycle. They will take a proactive role assisting the Project Leader and project teams in moving the project forward and enhancing communication with the project team and Client and promoting and facilitating integration on the project.

Your Impact

  • Maintaining project calendar including project schedules/deadlines and publishing to project team.
  • Assist in preparation of any materials required for project pursuit.
  • Assist in processing contracts and sub-consultant contracts.
  • Assist in scheduling design reviews, charrettes, and regular project meetings.
  • Attend project, department and team meetings and take meeting notes. Distribute meeting notes internally and externally as required.
  • Assist in generating project financial management reports.
  • Assist in tracking invoices and project payments.
  • Assist in tracking scope changes and preparing add service requests to the client.
  • Create and maintain project document file storage within the standard project directory structure.
  • Assist the project team in receiving, filing, distributing, processing, tracking due dates and responding to RFI's, submittals and responses.
  • Provide production support for project technical staff.
  • Assist project teams in distributing project materials to clients and other industry partners.
  • Edit and format specifications, Table of Contents, Basis of Design Reports and other written materials as required.
  • Assist Engineers of Record in processing and filing of project status forms with Authorities Having Jurisdiction.
  • Manage and Track the QA/QC process for scheduling and review with Reviewers, Engineers of Record, and Project Manager
  • Assist Project Manager in client communications where required.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma

  • 5+ years experience

  • Experience in Design, Construction Management or Owners Representation

  • Need a minimum level of familiarity with the design and construction of buildings

  • MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and others.

  • Basic CAD and REVIT skills a plus.

  • Working knowledge of cloud-based file sharing platforms such as SharePoint, ShareFile, Newforma, Dropbox, Box, etc. is an advantage.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface professionally and effectively with clients-

  • Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software based on client needs

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness

  • Self-motivated and flexible to take on new tasks and assist teams.

  • Strong willingness & eager to learn.

  • Deadline oriented, ability to track, maintain and meet multiple concurrent deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits:

WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee's career.

Expected Salary: $57,300 - $75,000
