In this role, you will:
Collaboration: Work with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that electrical systems are integrated with other building systems.
Energy efficiency: Design electrical systems that are energy-efficient and meet the building's sustainability goals.
Budgeting and cost estimation: Estimate costs and develop budgets for electrical system installations and upgrades.
Electrical engineering principles: Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, power systems, and control systems.
Building codes and standards: Familiarity with relevant building codes and standards, such as the NEC and local building codes.
Design software: Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and ensure that electrical designs meet their requirements.
Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues. Bachelors degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
Previous Facilities experience or working knowledge of building infrastructure.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work assignments .
Track record of implementing executable solutions.
Functional knowledge of building plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Familiarity with current building codes.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. Experience with HVAC control systems, including building automation systems (BAS) and direct digital control (DDC) systems.
Professional Engineer (PE) license: PE license is often required for senior roles or for working on large-scale projects.
Construction or industrial maintenance background including managing general contractors and subcontractors.
Experience with energy management systems (EMS) and energy efficiency projects
Certification in HVAC controls, such as LEED AP or CEM
Experience with commissioning and testing
History of driving savings through value engineering cost designs
Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain clearances as needed to support Customers
Knowledge of LMBuildings terminology and how to operate
Knowledge of LMBuildings reporting
Ability to operate with Tableau
Experience leading virtual teams consisting of both Customers and Peer groups
Demonstrate knowledge of secure workspace construction and security requirements
Working knowledge of AutoCAD
Excellent customer service skills and ability to interpret customer requirements
Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with all levels of personnel
Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Knowledge of Lockheed Martin Facilities Standards, Industry Standards, policies and procedures.
Demonstrated experience leading change/process improvement activities and driving employee engagement to deliver results.
