**_Current & Future needs for a Concrete Finisher Journeyman for our Willow Project in North Slope of Alaska. Schedule 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off. Man-Camp location, including meals and snacks for the day. Employees will be required to book and pay for their own flight to Anchorage Alaska, including purchasing of own cold weather gear. Tools will be provided for specific craft._**
As a **Concrete Finisher Journeyman** for our **Willow** **Project in North Slope, Alaska** , you will contribute to our team by:
The roles and responsibilities of a Journeyman Concrete Finisher may include but are not limited to the following items.
+ Safe use of Hand & Power Tools.
+ Work safely at all times and promote safety to others around you.
+ Perform quality work as determined by the project specifications.
+ Accountable for all tools and materials at the end of your shift.
+ Assist immediate supervisor with aligning future tasks to be completed.
+ Must work well as part of a team.
+ Keep a clean work area.
+ Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
+ Selects type and size of related materials according to the job specifications.
+ Inspects bracing and shoring of concrete forms to insure their stability before and during pouring.
+ Studies blueprint, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to the type of material required such as various mixes, admixtures, curing compounds, grouts, and sealants commonly found on an industrial site.
+ Plans sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers.
+ Prioritize tasks according to job schedule.
+ Coordinate work with other crafts and co-workers on the job.
+ Get all tools and materials used by your crew to the proper place at the beginning and end of your shift.
+ Assist in assuring all required PCL and client Safety and QA/QC forms are properly filled out with all necessary signatures.
+ Keep track of all components and materials for your project tasks.
+ Must be willing to provide guidance and on the job training experience to other crafts.
+ Participate fully in health, safety, quality, and environmental processes.
+ Ambassador for PCL to the client, other contractors, and the public.
**Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements including DISA, NSTC training and be certified prior to arrival. There is no alcohol allowed on the North Slope of Alaska, it is a dry community.**
