What does theSenior Electrical Engineer do at SpecSys? Design and verify electricalsystems to meet performance and safety requirements Partner withleadership to ensure projects are completed on time and on budgetCoordinate project teams, provide work instructions, and maintainproject timelines Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layoutsfor both AC and DC systems Perform engineering calculations to ensuresystem performance, safety, and reliability Specify and sourceelectrical components and materials Generate and maintain Bills ofMaterials (BOMs) for electrical systems Collaborate with designers anddrafters to ensure drawings are accurate, manufacturable, and meetstandards Support electrical technicians during system builds withtechnical documentation and troubleshooting Conduct reviews of CADmodels and electrical layouts for functionality and accuracy Applyknowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, UL, IEC) todesigns Support validation and testing of electrical systems anddocument results Provide technical input during project reviews anddesign change processes Assist in preparing operation manuals andcustomer documentation Track and manage action items, Engineering ChangeOrders (ECOs), and project deliverables Participate in internal andcustomer design reviews Many tasks include their own work and/or thereview of work of others in the department How do we define a goodcandidate?
