ASME Welder/ Fabricator $18.00+ (based on experience) Day Shift Hours Full time Local custom engineering and fabrication company is seeking experienced welder to join their team. This position will weld and fabricate sheet metal into duct work, thermal/acoustic doors, tanks, washer and post rinse housings, and ovens as required by supplied drawings and calculations. Candidate will also weld various components to ensure functioning system that meets the customer specifications. Our ideal candidate will Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols for fabrication Fabricate light gauge sheet metal Participate in all requested job-related training Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude Desired Qualifications Certified welders are preferred by not required Welding experience (Arc,Mig) required Ability to operate equipment (forklift, overhead crane, etc.) Ability to use measuring tools Essential functions: Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms Sit; climb or balance Lift up to 70 pounds unassisted Equal Opportunity Employer: Including disability/veteran
