Journeyman Electrician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to perform service work and repairs on facility equipment. The role involves troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, followed by making necessary repairs. Work will be conducted on rooftops and within the facility, requiring the use of ladders and lifts. **Responsibilities** + Perform service work and repairs on facility equipment. + Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues. + Make necessary repairs and installations. + Work on rooftops and within the facility. + Climb ladders and use lifts for accessing equipment. + Program PLCs, VFDs, and other controls hardware. + Use specialized tools and instruments to troubleshoot, repair, and program electrical equipment. + Understand and implement NEC code and NFPA 70E requirements. + Troubleshoot control systems throughout the plant and make repairs as required. **Essential Skills** + Journeyman Electrician experience with a valid card (UAW or State certification). + Proficiency in troubleshooting and electrical service. + Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. + Experience in conduit bending, wiring, and installations. + Working knowledge of NEC code and NFPA 70E. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Successful completion of a formal four-year apprenticeship. + Experience in industrial environments is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Become part of a union after 90 days with great benefits starting 60 days after hire. The position requires working in various conditions, including rooftops and within the facility, utilizing ladders and lifts. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Detroit, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $83033.60 - $83033.60/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
