Maintenance Tech/Welder

We are searching for Maintenance Tech/Welder
Essential Functions of the job include (but are not limited to):
Welding parts together using both gas welding or brazing and any combination of arc welding processes
Must be able to utilize both MIG and TIG
Performs thermal cutting and grinding, repairing broken or cracked parts, filling holes, increasing the size of metal parts
Perform preventive maintenance on motors, motor controls, pumps and compressors.
Will assist with electrical work
20K pumps preventative maintenance
Adheres to all established safety (OSHA) and environmental policies and standards to include identification, use, and proper procedures for handling or disposal of hazardous wastes
Clean, organize and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
Ability to wear a respirator
Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned
Ideal candidates will possess:
Possess both welding and fitting skills
Ability to operate an acetylene torch
Read and comprehend measurements, and job sheets
Worked in an industrial setting
Experience in general maintenance, good mechanical aptitude, able to work on multiple tasks and the ability to follow direction is required
Must have a valid Drivers License
Industrial and Commercial work experience is a plus
Exposure to various skilled trades (i.e., mechanical, electrical, etc.).
High school diploma or GED
Welding Certificate is a plus, but not required
