The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, teaching or training experience, and the required certifications and / or licenses to ensure compliance with training standards. Basic Construction Math and Drawings, Introduction to Hand Tools, Introduction to Power Tools, Tools for Copper, Plastic, Soil and Steel Pipe, Lead Safety and Hazards, Introduction to Components and Systems, Introduction to Materials Handling, Introduction to the Trade, Standards, Codes, Basic Safety, Safe Work Practices, OSHA-10 Course and Plumbing Safety Manuals, Blueprint Reading and Shop Drawings, Steel Pipe, CPVC Pipe and Fittings, Copper Tube Systems, Underground Pipe, Water Sources, Disposal, Sewage Systems, Introduction to Gases and Mechanical Properties of Materials, Structures, Gas Piping Systems, Roof Drainage Systems, Acid Waste & Medical Gas, Hot and Cold Water Systems, General Purpose Valves, Installation Practices for Plumbing Fixtures, Fittings, Valves, Etc., Installation of Piping for Gas, Hot and Cold Water (Domestic), Installation for Piping for Waste, Soil, Sewage, Vent, Etc., Installation of Pumps, Sprinkler Systems, System Layout, Inspection, Testing and Maintenance, Maintenance and Repair of Water and Gas Systems, Procedures and Documentation
