Join the US Space Force mission as an Operations Planner, Craftsman -Orbital Warfare (OW) at Schriever SFB, CO. In this critical role, youwill design, develop, and execute orbital warfare training within theframework of USSF-led exercises, ensuring realistic and effectivepreparation in contested, degraded, and operationally limitedenvironments. Your work will directly impact mission readiness andcapabilities in orbital warfare operations.Pay: $148,000 - $163,000Essential DutiesOrbital Warfare Exercise Planning & CoordinationServe as the primary interface between the USSF Exercise team and Delta 9,facilitating seamless communication and collaboration for OW trainingintegration.Work closely with USSF exercise planners to develop and synchronize OWscenario timing, effects, and player actions, including rendezvousproximity operations (RPO).Coordinate manning and support requirements with the USSF exercise team,Delta 9, and associated units.Stakeholder Engagement & Training DevelopmentGather information, establish liaisons, and coordinate with internal andexternal stakeholders to ensure OW training requirements are integrated intoUSSF exercises, Flashpoint events, and mission-focused activities.Identify gaps and shortfalls in modeling and simulation (M&S) tools toensure realistic and effective training environments.Exercise Execution & After-Action SupportParticipate as part of the White Cell and Exercise Control Group, ensuringsmooth execution of USSF service-level exercises and related events.Support hot wash debriefs and contribute to after-action report development tocapture lessons learned and improve future exercises.Documentation & ReportingPrepare event-related documents, including trip reports, exerciseplanning/execution products, after-action reports, and meetingminutes, within established contractual time frames.Assist with USSF exercise planning conferences, coordination meetings, andtraining events as needed.Additional ResponsibilitiesCarry out other tasks as directed by contract leadership to ensure 392 CTSmission success.Required Qualifications5-10 years of space operations experience.1-3 years of orbital warfare experienceIn-depth experience working with orbital warfare payload missions andunderstanding the tools used to plan and execute orbital maneuvers.Strong knowledge of orbital warfare missions, capabilities, limitations,and command and control (C2) constructs.Preferred QualificationsProficiency in System Toolkit (STK) or similar orbital analysis software.Previous experience with Delta 9 or related orbital warfare missions.Education & CertificationBachelor's degree from an accredited institution; additional years ofexperience may be substituted for degree requirement.Required ClearanceTop Secret/SCI with Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility.TravelLimited travel required (less than 4-5 weeks/year)In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, USfalconconsiders several factors when extending an offer, including but not limitedto, the role and associated responsibilities as well as a candidate's workexperience, knowledge, skills, education, and training.Benefits Offered: medical, dental, vision, life insurance,short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexiblespending accounts, EAP, parental leave, pet insurance, paid timeoff, and holidAbout US: USfalcon has grown from our roots in 1984 to become a mid-tierprofessional services company supporting a diverse and global customer base ofDoD and Federal Agencies.
