Architectural Project Manager Job Description We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to lead our multi-family, mid-rise, high-rise, and commercial projects. This role includes involvement in some religious projects as well. The successful candidate will oversee project design, drawing production, coordination, and construction administration while mentoring junior staff and reporting to senior management. Responsibilities Lead project design and drawing production to ensure the highest quality outcomes. Coordinate project tasks and manage construction administration effectively. Mentor junior staff and provide guidance in project management. Ensure compliance with building codes, client preferences, and overall design intent. Review DOB objections and manage consultants including structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, expeditors, lighting, and acoustical consultants. Handle construction administration tasks such as RFIs, ASIs, and drawing review submissions. Essential Skills Proficiency in Revit, including plug-ins such as Enscape. Strong skills in AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and 3D computer modeling software. Experience in project management, project coordination, and architectural design. Understanding of NYC DOB processes, building codes, and zoning regulations. 7-10 years of architectural experience, with at least 2 years managing NYC projects. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in interior design is a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with residential architecture, multifamily, and mixed-use commercial projects. Work Environment Enjoy a hybrid work schedule with Monday-Thursday in the office and Fridays from home.
