Fire Alarm Technicians I - DC Metro

Adecco Permanent Recruitment is looking for Fire Alarm Service Techs (Level I) You will perform routine inspections and functional testing of fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA 72 and local standards. + Test and troubleshoot initiating devices, notification appliances, and system components, addressing malfunctions or deficiencies. + Assist in inspections and testing of interconnected systems, including elevators, HVAC shutdown, and fire doors. + Document all service activities, including inspection results and repairs, and complete testing reports with noted deficiencies. + Communicate system performance and deficiencies to customers and account managers for accurate quoting of recommended repairs. + Collaborate with senior technicians and supervisors to learn advanced fire alarm system technologies and best practices. + Assist in the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of fire alarm systems, and determine materials needed for repairs. + Respond promptly to service calls and emergency situations, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining compliance standards.
